Application-led design

Machine guarding shaped around your production environment.

The same hazard can require a different guard when hygiene, product flow, changeover, visibility, traffic routes or maintenance access changes.

Different process. Different priorities.

One material does not suit every factory.

Guarding must account for the full production context: who needs access, what must remain visible, what may be ejected and how the area is cleaned and maintained.

We use the site review to translate those conditions into material, frame, panel, door, safety-distance and control-interface decisions.

01

Packaging machinery

Guards for fillers, cappers, labellers, wrappers, cartoners and connected conveyors—planned around changeover and replenishment.

  • Changeover and replenishment access
  • Product and conveyor openings
  • High-speed moving parts
02

Food & beverage

Cleanable stainless-steel and clear-panel guarding developed around hygiene zones, washdown and production access.

  • Stainless and cleanable construction
  • Washdown and chemical exposure
  • Hygiene-zone interfaces
03

Pharmaceutical

Controlled-access guarding for inspection, packaging and automated handling where visibility, cleanability and documentation matter.

  • Visibility and controlled access
  • Documentation expectations
  • Clean production environments
04

Robotics & automation

Perimeter guarding, access gates, interlocks and presence-sensing interfaces for industrial robots and automated cells.

  • Perimeter and cell guarding
  • Interlocked access
  • Presence sensing and reset
05

Metalworking

Robust fabricated protection around pressing, cutting, machining, forming, swarf and potential ejection hazards.

  • Impact and ejection risk
  • Swarf and fluid containment
  • Tool and maintenance access
06

Plastics & polymers

Machine-specific access and enclosure solutions for moulding, trimming, handling and downstream automation.

  • Heat and process movement
  • Take-out and downstream handling
  • Machine-specific apertures
07

Logistics & warehousing

Physical separation around conveyors, sortation, pallet handling and automated storage interfaces.

  • Conveyor transfers and drives
  • Pedestrian separation
  • Material flow openings
08

Assembly & test

Compact guards and clear enclosures for test rigs, fixtures, presses, inspection systems and semi-automatic stations.

  • Compact machine envelopes
  • Frequent operator interaction
  • Clear process observation

Retrofit or new equipment

Guarding can be developed at either end of the machine lifecycle.

We support replacement guards and established machinery as well as new cells and production lines.

An older machine review needs to consider condition, existing controls, foreseeable tasks and the consequences of modification. For new equipment, early collaboration can avoid compromised doors, transfer openings and maintenance access later in the project.
